"Aromatic and sensual, her food releases its perfume, but its mysteries resist decoding until Sarina releases her secrets."
Elaine Watson, New York, NY
"What you'd hear most often in her home? 'Sarina! This is so delicious! What's in it?'" Pearl
"Her food sings, whispers, hints, but never shouts, about all the places her ancestors have been." Liz

"I knew Sarina's grandmother Esther and her mother, Renee. Esther was a very famous chef in our Brooklyn community. When I tasted Sarina's sambusak and her kibbeh, it took me back 50 years. She matches her mother and grandmother's cooking any day of the week. I enjoyed every bite." Anonymous

"After decades of enjoying Sarina Roffe's amazing Sephardic cooking, it's about time she shares her wonderful recipes and cooking techniques with us."
Etta Meyer Parsons, Tenafly, NJ
"I have had the good fortune to be a neighbor of Sarina for the last 20 years. She is the best cook that I know. All of her dishes are wonderful. She makes delicious salads and appetizers. Her minestrone soup is the best. Every time she invites me to her house, I know I will have many special Sephardic delicacies. I look forward to the invitation every time."
Judy Hoffman, Brooklyn, NY
"If you are tired of being told that you can make a great Jewish dish by adding a handful of this and a pinch of that, try following Sarina Roffé's Sephardic cooking style and you'll never look back. Her cooking is both creative and absolutely delicious.
"Much of the new-style Jewish cuisine is leaner and lighter than that of the past. Sarina can show you just how to make that perfect dish. Her recipes retain the glorious blend of flavors and textures, as well as all the nostalgia associated with middle east cooking. Try her Kibbe, her Sambusak Meat, her Fowla (String Beans). Everything is simply divine."

we “In addition to being a generous and gracious hostess, Sarina is an amazing cook. She recently donated a lavish kosher dinner party for 8 lucky guests for Hadassah Brooklyn Region. Sarina told us to be prepared to be waited on like royalty and she meant it. We were waited on hand and foot and treated to the most delicious Sephardic Cuisine!
We were greeted by Sarina with a beautifully set hors d'oeuvres table. Everyone enjoyed warming up for dinner with her mushroom bourekas and lahamagene. After some wine and lively conversation Sarina led us into the dining room where we were visually dazzled by the magnificent table setting. She set the table with a magnificent tablecloth, French limoge dinnerware and silver flatware.
The aromas and presentations were spectacular. The dishes were cooked to perfection. She took into account everyone's preferences, even down to my husband's vegetarian life style. We started with maza, an assortment of salads, pickles, olives and bread before the main courses of chicken and potatoes, stuffed squash, rice and string beans. She capped the dinner off with aperitifs, Moroccan Mint Tea, and scrumptious desserts - apple turnovers, nuts, fruit, and baklava.
I am thrilled that she has come out with Sarina's Sephardic Cuisine. I know it will be a wonderful resource for all of us! Mazal Tov on your new App Sarina!”
